About Us
The Chennai Young Naturalists’ Network was founded in April 2020 with the aim of bringing together nature enthusiasts in and around Chennai under the age of 26 and giving them a platform to interact, exchange ideas, collaborate on various initiatives and learn from each other. Today, YNN has over 60 members ranging from the ages of 8 to 26.
YNN publishes a tri-annual e-magazine, Nature Trail, handled by our editorial team, featuring articles by YNN members and other youngsters across the country. We maintain an active social media presence, courtesy of our outreach team which is responsible for coordinating public outreach events as well.
Depending on the state of the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope to conduct physical meetings and nature walks periodically.
